NON-CREDIT FINANCIAL ORGANISATIONS, CREDIT RATING AGENCIES, AND CREDIT BUREAUS MUST PREPARE FINANCIAL STATEMENTS IN ACCORDANCE WITH CENTRAL BANK REQUIREMENTS AND IFRS REQUIREMENTS
Starting from 2025, new requirements of the Bank of Russia regarding accounting (financial) reporting have come into force for certain non-credit financial organisations, credit rating agencies, and credit bureaus.
Since the Bank of Russia's requirements in the field of accounting and reporting are based on IFRS principles, organisations required to prepare financial statements in accordance with IFRS should develop their accounting policies and prepare accounting (financial) statements simultaneously in accordance with both the Bank of Russia's requirements and IFRS requirements to obtain an audit opinion.
