OSAGO AGREEMENTS IN ELECTRONIC FORM SHOULD ALSO BE AVAILABLE FOR DRIVERS WITH FOREIGN DRIVING LICENSES
When concluding third party liability insurance agreements in the form of an electronic document, websites of certain insurers do not allow entering data on a foreign driver's license into the application, since the corresponding field is limited to 10 characters required for Russian licenses. This is evidenced by citizens' appeals to the Bank of Russia.
The Central Bank of the Russian Federation notes that such practice is unacceptable and may result in sanctions.
